Reisho 2

Today I wrote reisho again!
Last time I wrote reikihi and it was copy work so this time I tried reisho without any examples.
Here is my work of reisho!

 

I wrote human love (人間愛)　by reisho-style. I had to think where should I use wave part and faint print part. It was difficult but I like this work. I want to challenge more! 

 



Kana-moji 2

I tried to write kana-moji work agin!
This time  I worte haiku by kana-style.
This is my work of kana-moji.

This is Matsuo Basho's haiku.
やま路来て　何やらゆかし　すみれ草
Here is a English translation of it.
"Coming by a mountain path Somehow pretty and modest Little Violets"

It was really difficult to write especially the part of "し".

Hanko

Today, I would like to introduce In(印). It is kind of stamp od shodo.
When we make a work, we write our name and also stamp In.
In is a stone and we carve our name on it.
This is the stone of In.

It is so hard to carve and takes long time. I made my own In when I was a high school student.
My name Kanako(華菜子) was so hard to carve because my kanji of name had a lot of line.
This is my In.

Can you read it? The write side is 華 and on the left side is 菜 then, bottom of the left side is 子.
This font called "Tenshotai" and this is for font of In.

Kanji and Kana2

Today. I try to write Kanji kana majiri style.
I wrote "Haru to shura" by Miyazawa Kenji.

「わたくしという現象は　仮定された有機交流電燈のひとつの青い照明です
あらゆる透明な幽霊複合体　風景やみんなといつしょに　せはしくせはしく明滅しながら
いかにもたしかにともりつづける　因果交流電燈の　ひとつの青い照明です
ひかりはたもち　その電燈は失はれ」　宮沢賢治「春と修羅　序」
 Here is a English translation of it.
 "The fhenomenon called I is a single blue illumination of a presupposed organic alternating current lamp The single illumination of karma's alternating current lamp Remains alight without fail Flicking unceasingly, restlessly Tpgether with the sights of the land and all else"

Ranteijo

Today, I tried to write "Ranteijo(蘭亭序）".
Actually I am not good at writting gyosho-style so I try to write it to improve my skill.
I introduced ranteijo my gyosho post. This is original work of it written by Ougishi.

And this is my work.

It was difficult for me to write straight and think about stream of the line. I want to improve more!!

Paper

When we do shodo paper have important element because there are a lot of kind of paper and we should choose a paper which goood for the style of the work.
There are mainly  three types of paper "Hanshi(半紙)" , "Hangire(半切れ)" and "zenshi(全紙)".


Also there are some colorful paper.

Also this is my work which use colored pepar. My shodo teacher chose this paper for my work. It is important to think about the balance color and style fo font.

Shodo performance

Have you ever heard of Shodo performance?
This become popular these days. It is a new style of Shodo.
About ten people write together on one big paper. Also they draw some pictures and use not only black ink but a lot of colorful ink. They write with music and sometimes they dance.
One of the big reason it became popular is movie and dorama.
"Shodo Girls"is a movie about high school girls who belong to shodo club.


When I was a high school student I belonged to shodo club and I did shodo performance.
The practice was so hard but it was fun and great experience for me.
This is a work of our high school.
